Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,
(Psalm 148:7-8 NIV)
Yesterday we had a violent storm blow through our area. The sky turned black and the wind blew very strong. All of a sudden we heard the sound of hail beating down on our house. Trees were blowing sideways and marble size hailstones fell down.
This happened in a matter of moments and then it was over. We were very thankful to be inside safe from the storm. Once the storm passed the sun came out and birds were flying all around.
We are all in a storm called coronavirus. One moment life was happening at a normal pace. Then all of a sudden our lives were turned upside down. Even though this storm is raging, we are safe in Jesus. If we follow His lead, He will get us through it and bring us to the other side.
“If you never go anywhere but where Christ leads the way, you need not be afraid of storms, for they will beat upon him more than upon you.”
- Charles Spurgeon
